The food offered a unique and authentic fusion of Colombian flavors, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. Every team member went above and beyond, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere that was nothing short of spectacular. El Parche is a place that will forever hold a special place in my heart.

This place has such a great ambiance you forget that you are in downtown Oakland. I will say the guy who was the hostess server and bus boy was very dry. He wasn't very friendly or helpful for people who have never been to the establishment. Like sir help me out here. But hey he may have been having a rough day considering he was doing it all. The food was good it was very flavorful, I did deconstruct the sandwich to create my meal. But I was so surprised at the salad dressing I'm not a fan of many dressings but it was delicious and the green sauce too. My passion fruit ice tea was very not sweet but the flavor was great. I will definitely go and again and try their cocktails!

Finally able to come here with some friends who live near by for bunch, food was great. My wife absolutely loved the empanadas. I can't even remember the last time I had Colombian food but definitely was good stuff. Gluten free stuff for my friend who has been telling us about this place the last year. We hope to come back again and have some dinner here soon.

Delicious food and a fun atmosphere. Had a great time trying lots of different dishes for a date night. Service was lovely, very friendly, attentive and informative when we had questions about different menu items. My favorite of the night was the empanadas, the one dish I didn't get a picture of, they were too good to wait to get a picture I guess! My sangria was wonderful as well. Overall I'd highly recommend Parche and would be happy to return!

Parche had been on my list for a long time and we finally ended up there with a couple friends for dinner. The owner came up to our table and told us how he came about the restaurant and explained the wall art to us. The restaurant has a very upbeat vibe and we had a lot of fun. The food and drinks were pretty amazing too.

We were so excited to try this place! (Tonight) Menu looked amazing and I have celiac disease so the gluten free kitchen was music to my ears. The food was great from the start, we all devoured the ceviche, empanadas, Brussels, plantains...so good. That's why it's such a shame the service was such a letdown. The waitress couldn't have cared less, verging on rude/contempt. It was like we all came in wearing Argentina jerseys. Also with the cold woman who rang us up at the end. My warm, exuberant, friendly and loving Colombian friends would've been embarrassed. That said, the guys who brought out the food were lovely. Sadly the service was so bad we won't be returning. Such a shame. Changing my review from three stars to four stars, because management has been very responsive and I believe they really are trying to improve. I'll visit again in a while and hopefully bump it up to five stars where it belongs.

Parche has been on my to-try list for quite some time now and I'm so glad I was finally able to go because it was amazing. I've personally not had much Colombian food so I can't speak to authenticity - but the food itself was great. The staff were also so friendly and helpful with their recommendations. For starters, we got the empanadas and Santa Marta ceviche. While the empanadas were good, the ceviche was our favorite. The blend of oils, aiolis, and fresh salmon were just simply delicious. For mains, we were torn between the Posta Negra and Pesca Samaria. We opted for the Posta Negra per our waitress' recommendation, and it was fantastic. The braised short rib was super tender and the sauce was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet by the Mexican Coke. The yuca-coconut mash had a mochi-like texture and had the perfect salty-sweet ratio. All so delicious! I can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes!

What a great find - a Colombian resto is not easy to come by and for us quick travel for good food is a no brainer. Everything was amazing from drinks (sangria) to starters and mains. Loved the ceviche, pork belly, chicken with pancake like. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. Tables in the middle and against the wall are close to each other and noise level could get higher, so be aware. Otherwise, a nice dining experience.

Visited with friends for brunch on Saturday after it was recommended for its gluten free kitchen and I was not disappointed. The decor is really fun and the staff are incredible pleasant. We had a reservation but at noon there were plenty of available tables. That said when we left just after 1:30 it was getting quite packed. The food was AMAZING. I loved everything but highly recommend the empanadas, arepa de chocolo, ceviche, and patacones. I will absolutely visit again!

A real hidden gem in Oakland. Oakland has so much delicious food and Parche really adds to it. It's a very elegant and sophisticated place for a take on modern Colombian food. Come hungry because you will want to try everything! Their cocktails are beautifully crafted. As far as the dishes go, we went with the brussel sprouts, the empanadas and their ribeye. Their brussel sprouts is a must and so is the ribeye. Brussel sprouts were different because they had a nice sweet taste to it. The ribeye was tender the butter served on the side gave it a new touch. The empanadas definitely could have had more filling inside. But the sauce added kick which was nice. The whole dining experience here was memorable!
